TKAM Final Paragraph

The case against Tom Robinson was only a matter of the jury's moral beliefs. Atticus tries his hardest to make his statement, but gets frustrated at the racism that the court shows. Aggitated, Atticus says, "'This case is as plain as black and white." Even though the case ought to be able to come to an easy conclusion, their racial thoughts are stronger than their values. They should be able to see that Tom is NOT guilty, but they don't want to prove him not guilty because he is a black man and people think he should be put in jail just because of that. The moral issues in the courtroom clearly aren't as clear as "black and white."

My Weekend

This weekend was pretty boring. Except for yesterday was my birthday. It was probably one of the worst birthdays ever. I had to work all day, and then I went and got my permit. But my mom won't even let me drive. Then she took me to get a cell phone plan with unlimited texting, which I had to pay for, and now she is saying that she is going to take my phone away because I didn't want to go to dinner with my family.

Well, other than that, I just babysat and worked all weekend. It was pretty boring and I wish we didn't have such a long weekend. Another thing that happened was my sister got mad at me while we were driving, and she just reached over and scratched my face. Not something really mature for a 17 year old to do if you ask me. Well, that's how my weekend went down. :(

Ping pong is the best thing ever invented. Who doesn't like ping pong? I know i do!!!!! :) I personally think ping pong should be a professional sport. I would be the best ping pong player in the world!!!! ~~~~~ But actually, I don't like to play ping pong, I just like the sound of it. PIIIINNGG POOONNNGGG!!!! Doesn't it sound awesome? If some random person came up to me and said "ping pong" then I would love them!!! I wish they sold ping pong balls in gumball machines! ~~~~~ yeah!!! that would be totally the coolest thing the world!!!! ~~~~~~
